While the resort has some great attractions and facilities for all ages and the majority of the staff are friendly and helpful, poor maintenance of the rooms and average customer service lets them down.
When we arrived at our villa with our two youngest children, we wanted to give them a bath before putting them to bed but we found the water coming out of the taps to be brown and dirty.
None the phones in the villa worked so I had to walk back a considerable distance to reception to report the issue. The night manager was unapologetic and simply said he will send someone to investigate in 10mins or so. After 30mins of waiting I had to walk back to the reception to chase it up and was informed by the same night manager that he had sent the maintenance man to the wrong room by mistake. An hour after reporting the issue several people turned up to the room and after looking into it for some time, concluded that the boiler had been cleaned and the taps needed running for a while to clear the water. Running the water for around 45mins did resolve the issue but again no apology was given. They had obviously not done full checks on our villa before we arrived (the fixtures for the bath were also loose).
The next day our eldest son used the jacuzzi in the other bathroom and when he released the plug to empty it out, dirt and debris shot out of the ports spraying the bath and tiles. When the hotel manager came to investigate with the maintenance staff.
