The hotel is located in a working-class low income neighborhood, and unfortunately, this means you’ll encounter quite a few junkies and homeless in the area. The photos on Expedia are deceptive, making the place look like a four-star hotel, but in reality, it looks heavily worn and used. To make matters worse, there were guests constantly smoking and drinking in a corner, despite the no-smoking signs everywhere. I won’t go into detail about what they were smoking.
The TVs had some kind of lock, so you could only access YouTube and a few other apps. The washer and dryer were also problematic. First, the machines wouldn’t open, then they stopped accepting coins. In the end, the hotel staff had to take our laundry to another part of the hotel across the street to get it washed.
All of this, while the hotel isn’t exactly cheap. They advertise with special rates to lure people in, but the experience was far from pleasant. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
