Everything would have been great except for the lack of and poor communication on the parking validation process. There was no prior communication on the validation process and we were told to simply swipe our credit card to get into the parking lot. At the reception desk, the man said not to worry because upon checking in, we were validated. He said when we check out, we would see that parking would be free as advertised. When we went out for dinner that night, we noticed that our credit card was charged at the parking gate. Upon returning, we talked to the same man and he again said we were already validated so there would be no charge. The next morning when we checked out, we talked to a different person at the reception desk. She explained that we had to get our card validated every time we exited the parking lot. Otherwise, there was an hourly charge and also a service fee assessed at the parking gate. We told her what the man said the night before; she apologized and said there was nothing she could do because he should have explained that we needed to validate again when we told him that we were heading out for dinner after we put away our luggage.
