I stayed one night at the hotel in Padua, looking back, I think I should have booked two or three, so that I could get a better experience of the Veneto.
Parts of the hotel seemed like an escape room, because my bedroom was located towards the rear. I was told that I had to take two elevators to get to my room, as it was in the back of the hotel. Part of it was under refurbishment, so I had to take one elevator up, and go to the other side of the hotel (4 minutes walk through two hallways) to take another elevator. This is part of what made me have to cancel my day trip to Venice, the other part was the rainy weather, which I won't find the hotel responsible for.
My room was comfortable, and the wifi worked fine, though I had to ask for help reading the receipt of my personal password.
Breakfast was good, had a good selection. There happened to be two tour groups having breakfast at the time, and tables for solo travellers were a bit hard to find, but it worked out fine for me.
