We were there for 10 days and you could not flush toilet paper it had to be disposed of in a bin. We were provided with a very small bin and not extra bin liners. We contacted the apartment owners and were told we would get a mid stay clean and bin empty as a good will gesture. It’s not acceptable to have dirty toilet paper left that long. Although the aprartment had a kitchen there was no hot water to it as it was a kitchenette, this should have been stated beforehand. When we enquired about it we were told to use the bathroom sink. The bathroom sink is porcelain and very shallow, not somewhere you can wash dishes, no doubt if we had tried this and broken or chipped the sink then we would have been charged. The water wasn’t hot in the shower or bath, just tepid and the bath plug was broken so the water slowly leaked out anyway. The apartment is VERY NOISY, road noise, building works noise and television from upstairs noise.

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, smelled lovely, great amenities and a balcony overlooking the street. I felt very secure as a woman travelling solo and the staff were very attentive and went out of their way to quickly resolve any minor issues I had. The only thing I will say is that soundproofing could be improved. I could often hear noise from the other apartments and outside. Nonetheless this is somewhere I would stay over and over again. Thank you!

The room looks exactly like the pictures. The main entry and hallways are beautiful as well. Elevator was handy. Location is great and right in the middle of Valletta. Short walk to everything! Cute balcony although the chairs could not fit on it.

Lovely accommodation, clean and well presented. Good location. More info regarding how to use facilities such as TV and coffee maker etc would be good. Also info about local shops, street map etc would be very helpful. Thanks

We stayed in apartment 4, a superior room with a window to the street. This means there is some street noise so earplugs are useful. The room is really well appointed, nice comfortable bed and the little kitchenette is well thought out. There is no hot water in the kitchen sink but we just used the kettle. The hosts were very responsive when we had an issue with the AC and it was immediately rectified. The floor was a bit dirty but everything else was spotless. Would stay here again, it’s really central and everything is in easy walking distance.

Have in the city

The location is excellent. A quiet haven in the midst of the city. Very handy for all the main sites and ferries. Domestic staff was very helpful and friendly. Spaceous and very well equipped. Settee was not the most comfortable but it was only during heavy rain that it was used for any length of time.

Pros - Location is the BEST in Valletta Apartment spacious and clean The communication is excellent Lady who cleans the apartment is absolutely a gem Cons The apartment is on the ground floor It’s a dungeon and the only light is a small courtyard (unusable). This is where you take the garbage out. All curtains had to be closed due to privacy Sliding glass store leads to no where and the above units could see inside The biggest: unsanitary was the disposal of the toilet paper. Absolutely not to be flushed and had to put in a trash bin beside toilet Unfortunately apartment 1 is the worst unit I asked for a upper level and didn’t get Should you book here PLEASE ask not to be put in Apartment 1 It was a let down I don’t like giving this many Cons but I value the Reviews of Hotel.com to make the best choices in Hotels I will say the sister hotel is a gem 19 rooms

Beautiful but

Beautifully renovated building, spacious and super clean, it has an elevator and its steps away restaurants, shops, not too busy at night to prevent you from sleeping but close enough to walk everywhere. My only issue which is very important to me personally is lack of windows to outside. There is a closed courtyard which works as a big skylight that lets lights in and all rooms have windows facing this indoor courtyard which is better than nothing but it does not have windows to the outside that you can get let fresh air in or look out and that for me is a deal breaker and if I knew that I would not pick this place to stay for a week. If you are having a short stay and that’s not an issue I highly recommend this place.

The apartment was spacious and clean. We would have liked clean towels a day earlier than we got them. The neighborhood was quiet but the sidewalks were hard to navigate because they were so uneven and broken. Also we didn’t care for the fact we couldn’t even put toilet paper in the toilet. It was rather unsanitary.
