This is a lovely lovely Inn and a fabulouse place to stay. The rooms are newly renovated, clean and beautifully appointed. The location is perfect ... within walking distance of pretty much everything in Mahone Bay. Yet still very quiet. I Highly recommend this place.

This was such a nice, quiet base for us as we made several day trips. The parking was convenient and easy. The room was comfortable and spacious. We got great restaurant recommendations too and had a very nice stay.

Central place to be in Mahone Bay

Luxury rooms in a beautiful old house in the heart of Mahone Bay! This property offers on site parking, and comfortable rooms. We really enjoyed the premium linens (including robes!), spacious rooms (and bathroom!) and the shower is incredible. The room is equipped with a bar- sized fridge, kettle, and coffee machine. Light snacks are also provided. The building has been nicely maintained/restored, but before you book your stay you should know that it’s more like a rooming house in that each suite is assigned to a different person and the library and dining room are shared. There’s no access to kitchen facilities for preparing meals and the outdoor seating and BBQ is for guests in a specific room only. We enjoyed the 3 nights we stayed.

We had a beautiful stay at the Magnolia Inn. Our room was super cozy and had everything we needed. Great location! Our stay was delayed due to some car troubles, the Inn owners Laurie and Craig were extremely helpful and understanding.

Wonderful stay

Magnolia Inn in Mahone Bay may have opened in 2024, but it’s housed in a beautifully restored historic property dating back to 1879. We were lucky to stay in the master bedroom on the second floor, which featured a spacious, modern bathroom. Each room includes a mini-fridge, smart TV, and Keurig coffee maker for added comfort. The first floor offers inviting shared spaces, including a cozy sitting room, a large dining area, and a quiet library—perfect if you need to get some work done. The entire inn is spotless and thoughtfully organized. Craig, the owner, was incredibly gracious and welcoming, and their summer staff (whose name we sadly forgot) was equally kind and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

We had an amazing stay at Magnolia Inn. Craig and Laurie have done a beautiful job with preserving the charm of the house, the thought and care shows. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the decor was lovely. Thanks again to Sam as well for welcoming us and sharing some travel advice for the surrounding areas.

Beautiful blue room

This place is absolutely beautiful. Sam the innkeeper welcomed us and was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are lovely. The inn is immaculate. The owners were gracious.

It was a beautiful garden suite! The central location was perfect. The little shop across the street with items from local artists was a nice find. We had dinner at the pub down the street. A lovely two nights in Mahone Bay!

Our experience was all around excellent but if I were to give one recommendation it would be to provide noise abatement from the bottom of the door to the floor. It didn’t affect us or anyone else to my knowledge but I can certainly see it being an issue for some. Thank you and good luck with the upcoming season.

Amazing …the Magnolia Inn in Mahone Bay was very clean and well equipt with everything you need for your stay … the kitchenette was an added bonus …and our room came with a great outdoor seating area… I highly recommend and will def be staying again

This is a unique heritage property that is in wonderful shape, rooms are spacious and clean and have great amenities. The breakfast was terrific; the owners are fabulous . Can't give this a higher rating. Thank you!
