Checkin nightmare
Checkin was a nightmare. It took almost half an hour to clear a perceived huge issue with registration with my reservation. Three male clerks looking over one another’s shoulders at the computer screen and chastising me, each in turn, several times, for not indicating the correct number of guests in the room. An oversight on my part.
After more “scolding” and frowns, I asked to know how much the difference was and offered to pay the very nominal $20 up-charge for the oversight. Our room reservation was for one night for two queen beds. But the big issue was that we were two couples instead of one.
The approach was totally unprofessional. I paid the additional amount, which they processed, and asked for a receipt. I was refused a receipt because they said I had booked with a third party. Crazy! Rudeness and customer service at its worst. I have NEVER encountered anything like this.
Everything and everybody else was super. The hotel was very nice and clean. Room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding.
I strongly doubt I will ever return to this hotel.
