The Apartments by Brochner is in a great location and neighborhood and shares a lobby with the hotel which hosts free afternoon happy hours and later cocktails. Vaekst, the restaurant is amazing, but needs a reservation and is also where they have a plentiful breakfast buffet each morning. The apartment was spacious with a separate kitchen area and table. The bathroom has heated flooring. Only minor suggestions for improvement - the lamp over the kitchen table was too low and we would bump our heads getting up from the table or even walking by, which was a bit dangerous. The light would also go out after after 30 seconds and we could not figure out how to keep it on longer. The hot water pot was plastic with exposed heating element which was corroded and seemed to leave a film in the water. The closet rack was so high, we couldn’t reach it to hang our clothes. They should also make it clear that you need to arrive at and check in at the hotel lobby, because it has a separate address and there is a separate entrance around the corner and then you can access the Apartments through a courtyard between. Also the key card did not work at the entrance to the apartments, so we had to always enter through the hotel. The rooms look out over a large intersection and there seemed to be a lot of sirens, which didn’t bother us, but might affect light sleepers. Overall a great place for an extended stay!
