Was not told on the ad or from Hotels.com that the pool deck was gone. All other ads told! Hotel would not put us a floor higher. Our view was a chain link fence. Said they were booked? Hotels.com blamed it on hotel. Hotel blamed it on hotels.com. I specifically looked for rooms without damage or construction due to past hurricane on the ads. Had to use Hotel next doir thru parking lot across there pool deck. I also paid in full when i purchased the room. Was told when i arrived. I had not. I showed receipt on phone. Said i could stay and the 1st. Night. And talk to supervisor next morning. Supervisor Asked for receipt. Showed them once again. Said it was ok? Hotels.com said they emailed and called. Hotel said they did not. I have stayed here before. Never had problems. Room is always nice. Not there fault there was damage. But should be aware of construction. When you travel 1000 to relax and enjoy a view. And when you show them a receipt. Of paid in full. Felt like since I wasn't BlueGreen. I didn’t matter. Because I went thru Hotels.com. Heres a thought don’t use them then? Leave the consumer out of it. Could of chose any place along the beach. They all were reasonable that week. Was sooo disappointed. But made the best of it. But probably won’t stay again. I should of asked for a refund but at that point wanted to not be hassled any further! Needed a place to stay. Ran into some nice folks along the way. Made the best of it!
