I can’t think of a negative thing to say about this hotel. From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice it feels chic and upscale without a bit of pretense.
The staff is warm, more than accommodating—and that’s applicable to every person I met there. And the welcome cocktail was a nice touch.
The attention to detail in the restaurant, common areas, and rooms was incredible. They spared no expense and just made really smart design choices with the space they had.
Aside from the aesthetics and great staff, there was a lot in the way of creature comforts: quiet and adults only, great bed, best breakfast I’ve ever had included in a price—and better than most I’ve had when I eat out—pour over coffee setup in the room with excellent coffee supplied, a well-stocked fridge, nice bath products, lovely rooftop, location central to everything in the neighborhood.
Got so much more here than I would at most any price point, but Amarla was a total steal. It’s a newer hotel, but I’m sure it’s going to be a hard to get reservation in no time. Whether you’re going solo or with a companion, you’d be nuts to skip this place.
