Don’t waste your money
Where do I begin? We chose this establishment to ensure a peaceful night's stay on Christmas night while passing through town. It seemed to be an ideal location, given its excellent reviews, but the parking proved to be extremely tight, particularly with a large pickup truck. Assuming Christmas night would be quiet, I was surprised to discover that the bar behind the motel features live music tonight. While I would have normally enjoyed this, it is currently 12:34 in the morning and sleep is impossible. I feel as though I am at the bar, reveling in the festivities. I spoke with the front desk and was informed that the establishment closes at 2 a.m. and that it's an inherent aspect of being downtown. Also, the walls and ceiling's thin construction allows me to clearly hear the neighbors upstairs talking and being heavy-footed. I can distinctly hear people's conversations when they walk past the room. Furthermore, if you're hoping for darkness, think again. The blind/curtain over the window lets in excessive light. I am extremely disappointed in this. The representative did not offer any alternative solutions. We will take our business elsewhere next time we pass by.
