I stayed in a two bedroom De Lux suite and were a family of 4. The hotel room was well maintained and clean. It was well appointed and definitely worthy of a 5 star hotel. The housekeeping staff did sometimes leave 2 sets of slippers despite there clearly being 4 people sleeping in our room. This was rectified easily though
However the meals were inadequate. The dinner regularly had dishes that were unavailable. We were allowed to switch between the A La Carte and the set menu that came with Half Board, however the menus were so small, this did not compensate for the lack of food options
Furthermore the service was unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. We regularly had to wait around 5 minutes for a teaspoon with our coffee. The food regularly took 20 minutes to arrive and main courses arrived after the starters
Additionally despite the hot weather the rooftop swimming pool was cold. We did mention this to staff however they did say the temperature was within limits
The area itself is being built up and nearby construction work is on going which did detract from the well maintained appearance of the outside and reception arena of the hotel
Overall, not the 5 star experience I was seeking and would not recommend
