Overall had a great experience at this hotel. The room was clean and spacious. The pool area was great, however the upcoming play room on the 3rd floor was under construction so I couldn't access that with my child. Some people may not like the distance to public transportation, but I didn't mind it at all and it was a leisurely walk along the river.
The restaurants located around the hotel were quite nice, especially the Wine Connection with its variety and reasonable price.
The downside were two: (1) noisy weekends and events at Robertson Walk; and (2) sewage smell coming from the drainage pipes in the bathroom.
Most nights were quite noisy from 8pm to about 11pm or midnight due to the nearby bars and even an outdoor viewing area for sports on a large outdoor screen.
Whenever running the faucet either through the bathroom sink or even the bathtub/shower, a foul odor of sewage kept wafting into the bathroom from the drains. I kept the bathroom door closed at all times to counter the smell.
