Not so great

The check in was ok. We had 2 full size beds. Neither one of them were very comfortable. In fact, one of the beds had what felt like the springs were poking my back as I slept or sat down. Breakfast, was so-so. Eggs were dry and unappetizing.

Don’t go here found bloody hand print on door

This hotel is in need of an update and refurbish. The staff that’s I was greeted by was friendly and up graded our room for our anniversary but when we went to bring our things in there is only one baggage cart for the whole hotel, when we got in the elevator the cart barely fit and we realized that the elevator inspection certificate was out of date. When we started moving we heard the cable ks squeaking like the where kind off track and it was shaking and the left wet floor signs in them at all times. We got to our floor and stepped in the hallway the smell was awful. We then got to our room and at first glance it was nice but needs an up date looks like I walked into an episode of that 70s show or my grandmas living room. We noticed as we started looking around that the coffee table that was pictured on the website by the couch was missing and the ottoman any the chair was missing too. As we started getting settled in and started looking around we discovered a sock under the a/c in the bedroom,weird stains on the wall, broken doorknob on the bedroom door, food behind the entertainment center was food, food toenail clippings on the carpet. When my wife went to use th shower in the master bath the shower head was broke and stuck on the jet stetting, due to her back injury she can’t do jets. Painted over peep hole, office chair was torn badly. And to top the cake there was a bloody hand print over the doorway to the bed room as you go out. I have pics. There’s more but no rm

It was tolerable and not yet to the level of disgust until I saw the vending machine area on one of the floors. Wear and tear is evident all over the place.
Hand towel. Not a good omen for the future status of the property.
Why?

TERRIBLE

Service was absolutely terrible. Our AC did not work, our phone didn’t even have an outlet plug, we had no blow dryer I had holes in my pillow case! No one would help us at eh front desk with anything and he was VERY rude.

Poorly maintained and managed

The room had a foul odor, security latch was broken, mattress seemed to be completely worn out, and the air conditioning made a very loud noise when operating and could not be used. Additionally, the shower wall was cracked and hastily repaired with silicone caulking. This place is in desperate need of a renovation and some proper management.

Not the cleanest place, elevators didn’t work upon arrival. When they did later it was only one and being on it made you wish it didn’t work anyway

Located near Downtown Wichita

Positive: Location close to downtown. Decent breakfast and internet. Negative: Hotel is need of a makeover. Deteriorating condition. My initial room had bed bugs. I had bites after just three hours. The clerk changed rooms but hardly seemed surprised or concerned.

Hotels.com booked us for a king suite with 2 queens and a jing bed amd when we got there they said there was none availble and Hotels.com overbooked us. We were originally placed in a 2 double bed room which is not whay we paid for. The guy at the feont desk was cery understanding and got us the room we ordered a few hours later.

Dirty rooms and uninformed front desk staff

Uninformed front desk staff. No knowledge of surroundings whatsoever. Did not fulfill any requests to be brought up to room. Cleanliness was an issue as there were a few cockroaches were in room.

There was no room cleaning for the 4 days we were there. I understand that sometimes you may need to request it or resources are limited, but after asking 3 different days, I got 3 completely different answers on the reason...front desk said I'm supposed to put out a card on door, another front desk person (different day) said no problem, we'll clean it tomorrow, it never happened. I ran into one of the staff cleaning ladies and asked politely any chance the room could be serviced. She indicated they only cleaned rooms on certain days but would make an exception for me. I said I don't need it clean but if we could just have fresh towels and toilet paper (we only had two towels and were out of toilet paper)...Why would the staff who work in the same property have 3 different answers...it made me think the front desk just said anything to pacify the customer but had no intention of following up. If I was told up front, that rooms are only cleaned on xx day, etc, it all would be fine and I would accept that. I just felt the staff either do not know or purposely misrepresented.
