Milan was my last destination of my Croatia and Italy trip with my mother. We were both exhausted from our long journey and It was past 9 PM when we reached. As soon as we reached the reception, this gentleman welcomed us by mentioning our name even before we handed our IDs. It was a perfect first impression.
He checked us in smoothly and explained well about the hotel. He also mentioned there's 2 hrs free SPA that all guests can use during our stay.
We were given a superior room on the top floor. The room is spacious enough for our big luggagge and two perfect beds. The room was facing towards Corso Venezia, the famouse fashion street of Milan. The bathroom was also spacious and the amenity was good, too. There was no bathtub, though. It would've been perfect if there was one. However, the shower had good water pressure so it was good enough.
The location is also perfect. It's just a few steps to Porta Venezia metro station, which is just 3 stops from Duomo station. You can easily take a walk to Duomo in 15-20 min or so. There are many cafes and restaurants, and most importantly closthes shops around the hotel, so you will not get bored.
We wanted to use this 2 hr free SPA that they offer, so we went down to SPA, but found out that we needed to bring our own swimsuits. Traveling Italy and Croatia in Novermber, we didn't think about bringing our swimsuits. We could not use SPA service and were a bit dissapointed. But overall we were pretty happy with the hotel.
