For a long stay
The hotel is located on a hill with a superb view of the bay, though it involves a 20 minute hilly walk or a taxi ride (for 3.80 euros) to reach the hotel from Samos Town/Vathy if you do not have a car. No kettle, cups, tea/coffee are provided in the room but the staff was kind enough to offer hot water and cups when I asked for them (I had my tea bags). The staff were generally very helpful - they helped with directions, ordered a taxi free of charge etc. All the taxi drivers were reliable and honest with the fee. The facilities in the room, an ancient telephone and a box television, were not modern but added a holiday atmosphere to the room. The shower room was qiote small but was probably fair considering the price of the room per night. Internet was available only around the reception. The breakfast was in buffet style and quite substantial with a variety of selections (eggs, bacon, beans, omelette vegetables, fruits, bread, cereals, yoghurt etc). There was a pool in the courtyard for all customers to use free of charge, though many beaches were within a walking distance from the hotel. Suitable for budget travellers looking for a place to stay for a longer period than a few nights.
