Not Nice
When I checked in, we were given a room and when i went to lock the deadbolt it wouldn't lock. I called and told the front desl and had our room switched. Had to go down to the front desk and get a new key. Then in the second room, the same thing with the deadbolt. Again go downstairs and gey a new key and a new room. The 3rd room the deadbolt worked but the tv did not and the bathroom sink drained extremely slow. Then when i went to check out, the desk clerk before giving me back my deposit which i paid in cash, got the housekeeper to go check the room before releasing the money to me.

Just adequate room in a shabby hotel
Bathroom not clean. Very worn and shabby room. Couldn't turn heat up to be warm enough, nor was there an extra blanket. Only one bedside table and lamp in a room for two. Coffee maker cord wouldn't reach outlet!

The property is old and is being refurbished bit by bit. The pillows were very uncomfortable and the blankets and sheets had definitely seen better days. The bed was on a cheap, standard bedframe on rollers and each time one of us got out of bed or went to sit down the bed would slide on the tile floor. The free breakfast was very limited compared to other hotels I have stayed at. The parking lot was very poorly lit but finding parking wasnt a problem. Stay was ok but wouldnt return.

Good location, pay what you get
Very friendly staff, hotel is outdated but hey you pay for what you get and if you want to be close to sandbanks, it’s super ideal. Lacks soundproofing, you can hear absolutely everything, even others using the bathroom.

The hotel was generally good , very clean and excellent view. Themain prob6was that the heating systems were not working and they could offer additional blankets only!! The weather was 4 degrees centigrade and the rooms were reallycold. Also the breakfast had very limited choice.

The staff at the reception desk were incredibly rude. The building was dire need of repair. Rooms weren’t the cleanest and the bare minimum was provided. There is no climate control for the individual rooms so we kinda froze through the night. I’m okay with staying at budget motels but for the price point for this hotel, it is not worth it. As a result of this stay I am likely to just avoid this entire hotel chain moving forward.

Do Not Reccommend This Hotel
Service was good but the hotel needs some serious updates and attention. Our room had cracks, stains, peeling walls, musty doors, no bathroom fan, non working light so it was dark, tv was poor quality small and the remote did not work. The pillows were mismatched in size and there was no immediate xtra blanket. We also could not change the room temperature. The only saving grace was there was breakfast included that had egg options, toast, hot and cold drinks and a waffle machine. It is the cheapest hotel in Belleville so price it good but it is apparent why it is. Surprised it was like this considering it’s a Ramada by Wyndam hotel.

Love staying at the Ramada when visiting family in Belleville. Our only complaint was the water was not turned on for the water slide making it very difficult to use, My grandkids were very disappointed and when they inquired were told it is only turned on 2 days a week and only the manager can turn it on. It was a weekend and the manager was not on site. They still enjoyed the pool but I’m disappointed they didn’t enjoy the full experience. Certainly someone else at the property could be delegated the authority to manage such a situation?

The waterfront view was beautiful!! The only problem was the screen door to the balcony was almost impossible to move so we couldn’t get out to enjoy the view properly. The building felt a little tired and some stains on the ceilings and walls were a little off putting. The carpet in the elevator was very stained and dirty, not a great first impression. The breakfast was very basic and some of the appliances were out of service (coffee maker and waffle machine). The doors to the rooms were very hard to open and close (just didn’t seem to fit the frame so you had to slam it with your hip or yank it very hard to move). I don’t think we would stay here again as we were surprised that a Ramada would have such low standards.
