I don’t even know where to begin. This trip ended with a literal dumpster fire - I could see flames jumping from my own room’s window, and security brushed me off so that wasn’t great. The fire department did put it out quick(ish) so that’s good.
The pros: very family friendly. There were apparently feral children throughout the property. The room itself was large, the tvs are comically small though.
The cons: it was dirty. Very dirty. We are a strict shoes off in the house family, and this place was so dirty I kept my shoes on and mopped the whole floor with a towel before I could stand walking on it. If only I had known, those were our only towels and they would not be replaced. No service at all, for the entire stay. No phone in the room to even call the front desk. Air conditioner is ancient, loud, shuts off randomly and had a filter so clogged that it was barely working. In room coffee? The coffeemaker had black chunks spitting out of it(always test with a clean cup of water - pro tip).
For the astronomically high resort fee, they should be cleaning daily. Not once, at all, was our room ever cleaned. We finally got towels after a security guard tracked down staff for us on our last night there.
The area can be rough, but usually it isn’t bad. This trip was bad. Fighting, screaming, homeless people using the pool area - which generally I wouldn’t mind, if people are respectful and kind. This was not that.
We won’t stay again.
