Pros:
Location is amazing, you are right next to the beach on Ocean Drive.
Room was decently clean
Wifi was not horrendous like I thought it would be. They have 3 networks, a 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz, and a guest network. I was able to remote in to my home computer and get my work done. It was a stable 10-15 Mbps for anyone who cares.
Cons:
The door to my room was able to open with no key and almost no force. Super concerning.
The pictures of the rooms and even the outside of the hotel are definitely misleading. It's a bit run down.
I'm by no means a clean freak but the bathroom is honestly a bit nasty. There's grout and mold in bathroom and the toilet looks like its 100 years old, doesn't even flush right.
My first 10 minutes in the room, I hopped in the bed which was pretty comfy to be honest and shortly after, I saw a huge worm climbing the wall right by the AC unit LOL.
Conclusion:
I booked for 2 nights but only stayed for one. If you book this place, please make sure your room lock works because I ended up realizing after my first and only night that I could literally open my door without a key and almost no force at all. Definitely a huge safety concern that I've never seen before. I think the location for the price is the only thing that should bring you here but you get what you pay for in terms of the room/quality.
I'd probably not recommend this place to a friend or book here again, but everyone's experience is different. Just thought I would share mine.
