The staff were amazing. We had several hiccups. Our bed was broken on one side, springs were gone. We mentioned it, and they put a pillow topper on the bed, but I still fought to stay in the bed at night. It didn’t fix the problem, it just made the problem more comfortable.
We had an issue with the internet in our room, they only apologized, but couldn’t fix it.
We had a do not disturb sign on our door. We didn’t need our room cleaned. They entered anyway, and replaced the towels!
The restaurant down stairs had mussels on the dinner menu, but we arrived 15 mins early, so they wouldn’t serve them as an appetizer.
The toilet in the room needs a handicap bar to sit down. I recently had both hips replaced, and usually I’m fine, but this toilet was like sitting on the ground.
The bathroom was beautiful, they went almost all out! The shower head only hit my knees, could have used a rain shower or a want to get the whole body.
The pool was disappointing for such a grand hotel.
Staff we great. See Sam at the main bar in the restaurant for town information or activities. Sam was good people.
Overall, I wouldn’t stay there again. For the money we spent for 2 nights. There are so many options.
Very disappointing in all.
