Don’t stop unless you have to
Counter clerk was a very unhappy person. Not rude, but not polite either. I asked if they ever had problems with vehicle theft or damage and he responded by telling my Albuquerque had the highest crime rate of any city in the US. I parked my truck next to my room and checked on it several times throughout the night and it was fine. Room smelled ok, AC worked, sheets were clean, plenty of towels, water was hot and plenty of pressure.
Hair dryer didn’t work, water damage stains on ceiling and walls, desk chair was broken, carpet needs replacing.
Breakfast was maybe the most disappointing I’ve ever seen. Breakfast started at 6:00. I went there at 6:15. Waffle iron was on……..but they didn’t have batter, no fruit, no yogurt, no oatmeal, no juice……..there was a loaf of white bread on a plate and some butter and jelly packets. Coffee with powder cream and sugar, a carafe of milk and a canister of corn flakes…………didn’t even have water for drinking…….if there are no other options anywhere……maybe………..next time I won’t even stop in or near Albuquerque.
