I highly recommend this lovely apartment hotel. I stayed in the maisonette-type room, where very modern bath room in upstairs and functional kitchen and cozy bed downstairs. All basic utensils, microwave oven, tea maker, dish washer are equipped in the kitchen (I couldn't find a chopping board, though). Just around the corner from the hotel, you'll find Jamie Oliver's shop where you can buy bunch of foods. Strolling down to Kensington highstreet, there is a massive supermarket called "Whole Foods Market" where you can enjoy wide variety of organic veggies, meats, international foods, wines, etc.
The hotel itself is just 2 - 3 min walk from Exit 3 of Notting Hill Gate station. There is no eminent signboard, but you can locate the hotel by two rather funny-shaped trees in front of the entrance door. Basic amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, soap, body cream are provided in bath area. Instant coffee, tea, sugar, milk and salt & pepper for cooking are in the kitchen area. Ventilation system in the shower room was excellent. Very clean and modern room.
One morning, the electricity was all gone in my room, but a kind engineer fixed it up immediately.
Only a few downsides are: Shower was way too hot and I couldn't control it. In-room video telephone system to contact reception somehow didn't work at all.
Overall, I was really satisfied with my stay at this apartment hotel, and will definitely stay there again.
