there are so many homeless people surrounding the fence of the hotel. the fence is also cut in several places so anyone come in and out of the hotel area. there were homeless living in their cars parked overnight in the parking lot and also having coffee in the lounge inside the hotel.

Roach Motel
When we got to the hotel we were just grateful to find last minute accomendations for a medical trip to UC Davis Hospital. The hotel did not appear ideal but we were happy to have a place to stay. Upon actually using the room however, we were less pleased. We could not get the microwave to work until we carried it to a plug in the bathroom vanity area. When getting in the bed, the covers had some sort of substance hardened into a stain. Upon trying to shower we found out that the shower head was not adjustable and pointed at the wall in back. There was also no nonslip coating or grab bars in the shower area. This made taking a shower very difficult for my grandmother. In the morning I went to make coffee for my grandma. Despite following the directions on the lid, the coffee maker did not make coffee. Instead it boiled water out the backside of the coffee maker lid. I ended up having to carefully pour the boiling hot liquid manually over the coffe into the cup. The final straw was the cockroach that we found trying to get into the bag containing our food . I just hope and pray no hitchhiking bugs made it home with us. The only reason I am not giving this 1 star is that it was an affordable place to stay in a pinch. It was not however, a place I would reccomend to anyone.

Dont mistreat people.
First they give me a room in the back, i am disabled, and was put on the third floor. Room had a bad odor, and when i found the elevator it smelled of piss. The heat didn't work, im thankful there were two beds so i used the extra covers. Why didnt i change rooms, i was in pain, didnt have strength to get back to the office. I wont be booking again.

Family get away
We choose this hotel.because of the location it was nice and perfect for my little family get away. Their breakfast was a plus my little girl loved the fact she can make her own waffles! Definitely will be booking here again next time we go to Sacramento.

Dirty hotel
The hotel reeked of urine throughout the elevator and outside my room. The toilet was filthy, and the lights, heating, were all broken. Sheets were stained. I had booked two rooms, and both had a horrible carpet smell. The entire hotel was filthy. This hotel is supposed to be the Wyndham, but it doesn’t even deserve that name. The front desk employees couldn’t even speak English. I arrived at the front desk to discuss my issues and requested a refund for the second night, not even the first. I would have gladly accepted the loss to avoid staying there. However, they refused, claiming that the booking was through Hotels.com and that they couldn’t help me. They even refused to pass on my request to their boss to clean the outside of the hotel with soap and water to eliminate the urine smell. The elevator not only smelled but was also covered in duct tape. The owner of this hotel should be ashamed of themselves and only cares about money, not customer service or cleanliness. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel and spending your money elsewhere. I was only there for 10 minutes, but I lost what was worth booking for two nights in two rooms. I couldn’t bring myself to stay any longer due to the overwhelming smell of urine and mold.

Think before reservation at this place
1. No remote in room. Had to ask twice for one 2. Volume on tv is set. Can’t raise it up or down. 3. Shower. Feels like it has a 5 mins timer. Cause. The water is sooo cold. And little hot water 4. Small refrigerator. Wasn’t cold at all. Drinks were hot in the morning 5. Lamp by door doesn’t work. Had to use my cell phone

Location is horrible
Room smelled good no smoke smell. Sink area were dirty with hairs that look like someone had shaved. Bathtub could use a good scrub. Could use some more pillows. Only had 3 pillows. First night was restful and quiet. 2nd night started out quiet and at 2:30am we were woke up by loud music and people talking extremely loud. Tried calling front desk for an hour to no availability because no one ever answered the call. Party went in til 5am. I Let them know when checking out only got an apology but no other compensation for loosing sleep. I will never stay there ever again.

The large suit
I needed a room large enough for about six people to sleep. My son had to have surgery at the next morning and I found this room. It was humongous!!! It felt like a two bedroom apartment. It could have been a little cleaner there was something sticky on the door like soda spray or something, but it was perfect for our one night stage my family. Since we have to come back to Shriners often, I will probably use this property more. The security guards that are patrolling constantly make you feel safe.
