Thon Buri is a thrilling, ever-developing district in Bangkok that’s packed with new features and stunning historical sites you won’t want to miss. The many iconic landmarks here are easily accessible whether you’re interested in towering historic temples or serene canals. The entire neighbourhood is a riverside destination, so scenic walks and waterways are common.

The things to do here are quite diverse, appealing to a wide range of travellers. Wat Arun and Wat Kalayanamit are impressive Buddhist temples, with the latter being much quieter than the former despite being home to a massive golden Buddha statue.
