It was fine. we didn’t get a poolside room even though we requested some time ago. They completely ignored me request without comment. ok well, we still had fun. the towel cards are annoying .

Would definitely recommend for families.
Super friendly staff... gorgeous location with a great beach and many pools to choose from with your kids.

We thought the property was lovely, but we oaid for a ocean view and when we got there they tried to put us in a room looking over the parking lot due to an owner coming in, but did not want to refund the difference. They gave us a 250.00 resort credit which did not even cover the tesort tax.

This has been our Hotel of choice for over 10 years! There’s 2 Huge Westin Resort Property’s next to other!
Love the beautifully kept property and the restaurant.. Fish Tacos are the Best! Breakfast choices are great and very filling!
Resort Bus Transportation to Shopping on the Resort and to the local Shopping Centers are great .. Safeway Starbucks Clothing Stores,Walgreens and eateries.

Overhead of our bedroom someone moving furniture. The charge for parking again ridiculous. Room was not ready, even though it was after check in time. Beach not very big.

It is 10 minutes from one of the top snorkeling spots (kapalua bay), and has a great resort feel. Far from Road to Hana.

We come to Maui once or twice a year. This time we were staying in the North building on a timeshare and decided to add one night and move to the south building. Were told at time of check in at the beginning of our stay in the North that when we changed over to the south they would expedite our check in at the time of transfer so we wouldn't have to wait all day with no room for the original check in at 4 since we had been on property for 6 days already. Day of transfer We check in to the south at 6:30 am. Were told they would expedite check in. So we had breakfast was done around 9:30 heard nothing. Decided to go hang out at the pool, 12 rolls around still nothing so I decide to go check at the front desk was told housekeeping still hadn't cleaned the room. Waited til 1:45 checked again still not ready. At 2:30 super frustrated asked to talk to manager. She comes out I explain all of it. She basically says yeah she checked and that's unacceptable we had been waiting 9 hours. She basically said housekeeping was just getting to the room now, the. she said it was a mantinance issue a screen had fallen off, and it would be 25 more minutes. She had every excuse in the book.
You think the establishment of the size of the Marriott would have a protocol set up for check in, not letting housekeeping determine how the hotel is run and who checks in when. The manager we spoke to was clueless and definitely one of the worse experience we've encountered in all our visits to Maui.
