I was there for a weekend of work, but my wife came with me too so she could met with friends and go to museums. They met us for lunch at the hotel's restaurant when we arrived and that kicked off a very comfortable and delightful weekend stay at this hotel.
The staff was very alert, courteous and helpful -- both at the front desk and at the restaurant where had a breakfast every day, in addition to lunch.
The room was not huge, but more than big enough for our stay. We paid a little extra to be on a high floor, which I do recommend, as we had a view of the Boston Commons and sunsets. And it was very comfortable. I really liked the bed a lot, and I can be picky about that.
Since I work with the local stage theaters, the location was super convenient, in easy walking distance to all of the big houses.
My one small criticism is the price of breakfast -- even if you don't pay the $35(!) buffet fee and order a la carte, it's still going to end up costing you about $30 for your breakfast, with tax and tip. A little pricey, especially compared to the other meals there.
But on the whole, we really enjoyed staying there and I look forward to returning in the future.
