Clean, comfy rooms. Room ready even though we arrived early and one room upgraded from a triple to a quadruple room. Quiet location a short walk from Bayswater tube station with local amenities nearby.

When I got to the room it seemed a little stained on the floors and walls and the blinds and wasn’t 100% sure about the headboard of the bed. The room smelled so strongly of bleach that I had to keep the window open despite it being November and a bit noisy with traffic outside.
Around midnight the man in the room above me started screaming and crying and singing and yelling. He was walking and stomping around nonstop and the creaking was very loud on my ceiling, loud enough to keep me awake. He seemed very erratic so I was too scared to leave my room, so tried ringing the front desk 8 times to no answer. I tried contacting the hotel via this app and also the whatsapp number of the manager listed on the site, but received no adequate response. I went down to reception twice but there was no one on the desk. Eventually around 2am I ended up going into a room marked Private where I found a staff member, and to their credit he moved me to another room on another floor at no extra charge. The second room also smelled very strongly of bleach so I had to sleep with the windows open.
The receptionist was very apologetic in the morning and the staff were helpful and kind when I was able to find them, but I would not stay here again in a million years.

Weekend trip
We stayed here from Friday to Sunday. Check in was 3pm but we arrived in London around 12. The hotel were happy to keep our luggage for us until we were able to check in. Same with checkout. The hotel held our luggage until we came back around 3pm. Hotel was in a great location, staff were all super friendly and the room was perfect for a couple of nights. Bed was comfy, room had an extra blanket if cold/fan if hot. Opening windows, private bathroom, tea/coffee and kettle in room. Breakfast was basic - but perfect for what we needed. Overall the stay was great. Will definitely be back! Thank you all!

Good location, nice staff, room was basic
Staff was really nice and held our luggage upon arrival and departure, and tried to get our room ready early. They had beverages for purchase that weren't too expensive. Room served its purpose but bed/pillows are hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom shower is tiny and with exposed pipes that get scalding hot, you burn yourself when you inevitably bump them. No A/C but there was a fan in the room. Room was clean and updated. Breakfast was good. Lots of dining options nearby and shops...location is really good.

It was somewhere to sleep....
Room was very small and felt like it had been added as an after thought.
Breakfast was very basic and finished early for a weekend stay.
Decor was fresh but poorly finished.
We did not feel it was value for money.

Functional, decent value. Bad check in experience.
Clean functional room. Late night check in was a problem, with no one answering the door for 10+ minutes. I ended up trying other hotels in the area for rooms before returning where at last I was let in.

Marketed as a three star hotel at a discount, it quickly became extremely obvious that this was a 2 star hotel I was paying full price for. The lock on my door broke so I was locked out for two hours and then had to switch rooms, the staff were mostly quite unhelpful, and the walls were quite thin so I could hear my neighbors quite clearly. I would strongly dissuade others from booking here.
