stayed 2 nights for a short visit to Durham and surrounds. Excellent choice of hotel.Newly renovated superior room on 4th floor ,very spacious,clean and bright..No complaint whatever apart from heavy safe placed loosely on floor under desk top.Food in restaurant was very good especially breakfast choices,and staff only too pleased to deal with a couple of awkward requests on our part. Especially Daisy,Dan and all staff we spoke with.

Only issue we had was we had no hot water. They had a burst hot water pipe on our first morning, although I appreciate nothing could be done whilst repairs going on we received no notification or updates about this
