I don’t write many hotel reviews given how many places I stay, but when I do it’s usually to compliment an employee or property, rarely to complain. Unfortunately here, I believe the criticism is necessary and accurate. Two elevators, one out of order and the one working had the large main panel that goes floor to ceiling with the elevator electronics on it, was almost completely falling off. There’s no was an elevator inspector would have been ok with this. Staff was friendly and polite but limited contact to front desk check in only. This facility is no where near the quality or cleanliness of other DRURY Inns we’ve stay at in various states over the years. The location is decent driving distance to the airport but outside of that, there was no benefit to choosing this over other options. The property is extremely tired and in need of serious updating. There was a security robot in the parking lot as well as gate access. Security enhancements are always welcomed but I strongly suspect these were reactive instead of just proactive. It either has terrible management, or corporate could care less about their complaints as the upkeep negligence is blatantly obvious.
