I love the vibe of Austin and its diversity. I'm always learning of new great things to do here. Downtown is Full of energy at night, a little crazy at times, but there are so many areas with so many types of music and comedy shows also. Good trails

Downtown and East Austin are clearly great if you like people who like to party. If you want a quiet getaway, it might not be the area to choose, but if you want to get out and hang with people, this area is probably one of the best I've seen.

Loved Austin! The city is relatively small, but has much to do and see. The Blanton Museum on UT campus is a must as is shopping in S. Congress area. Barton Creek Greenbelt is beautiful & great for hikes. BBQ and restaurant scene - wonderful!

We went here primarily for a concert at ACL and it was such an intimate, lovely venue. There are so many beautiful bookstores and libraries here, and the food scene is quite lovely as well. It's a nice change of scenery from Houston.

Our first trip to Austin and can't wait to go back! So much to see and do with extremely friendly people, easy to negotiate by car, great food, unique art and film experiences, and beautiful downtown! Don't miss this city!

Austin was a clean looking city, and we felt very safe. Like it a lot, and the 10 mile river walk was wonderful, and had great views of the city. The state capitol parking was very reasonable for an all day stay.

Austin is unlike other major cities and that's just fine with me. Folks seem a little nicer and a bit more positive and friendly. If only the rest of the country was a bit more like the ATX.

We're regular visitors. We spend our days at Barton Springs and Zilker Park and the evenings being foodies. It's such a great, happy, warm place to spend time with friends and family.
"The hotel was in nice condition and the rooms were aesthetically appealing as well as clean. The hotel attendants were fairly friendly and the valets were helpful and attentive."
"Everything was awesome except for the noisy AC unit which ran almost continuously to keep the room comfortable. The bathroom was spectacular and private even with both of us in the room together. Housekeeping services and amenities like the bar, coffee shop and valet were all lovely. The atmosphere was also rather upscale which I thoroughly enjoyed. The view of downtown from my room was just ok, but I wasn't there to enjoy the view! "
