From the outside, this place looks like it might be a crap hole, kind of hard to get into the driveway, small, kind of retrofitted to be a hotel at some point in its life...but on the inside it was a pleasant surprise.
This place is a two minute drive to the airport so their niche is people coming in and spending a night before going to the airport the next day, and they have really made the most of that niche.
Although the mattresses were a bit thinner than I would expect from a top of the line four or five star hotel, the beds were comfortable, so the thickness is moot. There were none of the tellltale signs of small, independently owned hotels with a cracked tile here, a leaky fauce there. Everything was maintained well. And despite the low pricepoint, the rooms were actually attractive, and the hotel itself was well decorated and tasteful. It may be catering to a certain clientele, but it didn't want to be the cliche hotel that is functional and lacking in aesthetics.
The restauarant is nice, and the food is good. It is Italian, so I had a calzone, which was really nice. The hotel gave me free transport to the airport the next morning at 4am, and the driver was on time. Everything went without a hitch.
If you are on a budget, this is a great choice. Also, if you want a place to sleep before flying out the next day, this is for you.
