Dirty, poor services

The hotel was very dirty with roaches everywhere. We didn't get room service for 3 days. They didn't have enough towels even upon request. The swimming pool was extremely dirty. There was only 2 items for breakfast and nit enought for everyone. Worst stay i have ever experienced in a hotel

Good overall

Pros: Great value, spacious, good temperature, very nice room, breakfast was good, love the mirror, space galore, comfortable bed, great setup in room, clean carpet in rooms, enough toiletries, microwave/fridge were clean, more than enough drawer space, great lighting in parking area in front. The staff were nice, quiet during sleeping hours. Cons: swimming pool and surround pool area needs some attention and maybe some rust removal, clean water, carpet in hallways was super dirty, maybe consider thick curtains, the light came in a lot making it difficult to determine if its daytime or nighttime, black spots in caulking in shower, one towel only (was given very small pool towel when asked the front desk).

Definitely needs a remodel and the surrounding properties are a bit sketchy. The receptionist was not super friendly and seemed to be bothered my having to check people in and out.

They have Roku tv’s but their wi-fi is really bad. We bought a movie that we couldn’t watch because all it would do is buffer The grounds were unkempt trees not trimmed so you could walk under the since that’s where you had to walk your dog. Cigarette butts everywhere and they wash their mop bucket out in the parking lot and it stays until it evaporates making it a little difficult to get in and out of your vehicle Since I have stayed at this locat several times this is by far the worse

Not happy

I dont know where to start. Our check in didnt go well.The young lady in the front was stuck up didnt make my boyfriend feel welcome. Besides that, she didn't tell him what time breakfast started or ended. Second of all, I guess the AC in the lobby wasn't work it was hot in there, and they had the door opened flies flying around the food.Coffee machine wasn't working. None of the machines in the gym weren't working.Top it off the water from the shower and the sink were coming out so slow.

Stayed at the Wingate for a mini-vacation with my wife. We had stayed here before; we like trying hotels, but decided to come back to the Wingate. First, we could not check in until 3:16 PM, 16 minutes after stated check-in time. Secondly, the indoor pool is no longer heated; the hot tub no longer works. The morning shift clerk we talked to, didn't seem to care. We will not stay at the Wingate anymore. We used to refer friends to the Wingate, but we will now share the bad decline of this hotel with our friends.

The hotel very filthy hallways carpet disgusting, no toilet paper in the bathroom, I had to go and ask for one, no shampoo, shower nasty with previous guests hair on the floor, I can’t stay in this place again. I asked why all the sanatizers bottled ate empty, she said we have an outside company to fill them up . Awful
