If you are looking for an economical, no-thrills stop-over, this hotel is befitting. Reception staff were expecptionally helpful and tried to accommodate all reasonable requests. Audrey acquitted herself with utmost professionalism and stood out to me as her's was the first face I saw upon check-in.
Of course, this is subjective, but beds were very comfortable; temperature control was good (we visited in December, so outside temperatures were dipping to 0 in the early hours): internal décor was tired and ventilation in bathroom could do with reviewing, but the key aspects of ensuring a good night's sleep have been prioritised.
Breakfast provision of continental-style was welcome; viennoisserie was freshly baked and bread was fresh. Modest seating area for breakfast, but sufficient for a 30-40 minute meal. Coffee was nice too!
Inviting reception area, which was decorated for the festive season. Reception is manned 24hrs a day. No telephone on bedroom. Sound-proofing between bedrooms was very good too.
