Our check-in process felt like we were interrupting the man’s evening; no customer service skills whatsoever. We did arrange for a shuttle for four to the airport for 4:00a and arrived promptly at 4:00a and there was no shuttle (I wanted to be five minutes early, but it sadly didn’t happen); we were told “they keep a prompt schedule” and when I showed my phone with the time as 4:00 and said, “it’s currently 4:00 and that was our reservation time” the woman at the desk simply repeated, “they keep a prompt schedule , you can catch the next one” with zero empathy attached. Personally I find this unacceptable; if you want to depart at 4:01, I totally get it, but to not be there AT 4:00a when you have a reservation for this kind of hotel is wrong… UNLESS they would have shared that the DEPARTURE time was 4:00a but that is not what was shared when I made the reservation. On a positive note, the shuttle drivers were wondeful!
