The front desk staff appears to have not been trained as hotel staff.
When I inquired about the public transportation to the hotel from the Istanbul Airport , I could not get a proper information . I was just told the wrong route and changes.only having been confused very much.
When I complained it to the Hotel Owner, he said it was my fault no to have checked by myself the correct route in advance and not to have used the hotel private transfer service.
Of course I don’t agree with him.
When I checked in finally. front staff introduced a lot of city tours e.t.c. although I told him that I knew Istanbul very well.
This is my first very strange experience I never expected and I have never had before.
The room was clean.
But Deluxe sea view room on the first floor has in reality only very restricted sea view.
Therefore
I moved to Suites with Jacuzzi on the 4th with additional payment.
The view was
far better than1st floor. But
Jacuzzi needs technical support and TV too.
Somebody destroyed TV signal connection therefore no signal to watch TV.
Unbelievable.
Maybe there is lack of governance to maintain the facility in a good condition.
and because the restaurant is above the room, In addition there is direct noises caused by table and chair move.
Too pity.
I should have stayed at a hotel with a long history or international chain hotel.
