Always Wonderful
The hotel is in a wonderful location on Upper King Street which has many restaurants and bars to walk to. The hotel staff were very cordial and courteous. Check in was easy as well as checkout. The room was comfy and provided a mini kitchen. This is the second time my husband and I have stayed here and we will be back.

We loved the King suite with the separate bedroom and full kitchen. We would give 5 stars if the pull-out bed in the sofa were comfortable but it was not. Also, we did not like the barn door on the bathroom - it would not latch easily or stay closed. The hotel was clean, the king bed was comfortable, the showere pressure was great, there were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.

Hyatt House king suite was a great option for a few nights in Charleston. Have you the living area so you didn’t have to be on the bed when in the room. The free breakfast was a value too.

Manager and the women who manage the check in and inquiry desks at night are excellent. The breakfast is the best around and included in the cost of the room. No wonder they have so many conferences. Suggestion to Hyatt: you need at least one chair with arms in. Disability rooms.

To start I live staying at Hyatt but THIS location was unique. They had the worse customer service in valet, housekeeping and at times, the front desk. The areas that stood out for great customer service was the restaurant during breakfast and the Tap Room on the roof and Jay, the Concierge. The valet was the worse if ever seen. They made you come to them and don't need help with your bags, not happening. Housekeeping would "clean" the room but never vaccumed and never refilled the body wash so we ran out while showering. But it's in a great location, Rooms are great, it's quiet and it's within walking distance of some great restaurants, bars and shopping.

Overall the hotel was clean. Buffer was really good. The valet customer service was poor. The valet process for guests was not clearly given and no assistance to help guest to pay for valet claim service. More training is needed. Tips would have been more substantial with a smile or a friendly word.

Parking is really expensive, plan to add 36-42$ to your stay per day if you bring a vehicle. The rooms were nice and amenities were great. I’d you exercise, the gym was small and surprising crowded and really hot!! Breakfast was decent and staff was really really nice.

Very convenient location, the staff was kind and responsive, nice pool and gym. The AC stopped working, they said it was fixed but that we couldn’t feel it yet because there are 300 units in the hotel. The bathroom floor in our room was dirty/stained.

This hotel was really nice and clean, along with the staff they were also nice and very helpful. Only a few thing to note which include: The pool is advertised as a heated pool but it’s not heated at all, secondly the rooftop bar is open but you have to be 24 and over to even go up to it and that wasn’t public knowledge I’m 21 and got stopped at the elevator and was asked for my Identification. Also the parking garage isn’t owned by the hotel it’s city owned so parking is at most I believe $18 a day.

Misleading
Booked a king studio suite and was given just a basic king room. When I inquired about the correct room was told by the front desk that the hotel was booked and nothing could be done
