The hotel was fantastic. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Near all of the sites in Salem. The only issue we had with our stay was the bed in our room felt like it was higher at the foot of the bed than the head. We made due but that was the only issue. The hotel has a lot of history on the walls and looks great.

Stay here! Don’t look any further! By far the best if not the top 3 hotel to stay at. They literally thought of everything! Staff was responsive and fabulous! The whole place was clean and beautiful! And the room was a sanctuary! Honestly with a 20 minute (give or take) T ride to Boston is worth staying even if you’re not spending time in Salem

A newly restored older building overlooking the streets just high enough to dull the sounds of the streets. Great location for walking to everything you’d want to see in Salem. An app for keys, plenty of towels, and friendly staff. The junior king room was perfect for our weekend getaway with a massage parlor situated just beneath the hotel, it was perfect to help us relax. Great stay and very clean!

Would have been an excellent rating, but minor things like toilet paper wasn’t stocked and there aren’t after hours employees. Some of the dishes in the kitchenette weren’t clean, but I think that might be due to past guests and not the staff. Great space, great view. Close to everything. Just be prepared to run next door for toilet paper after 6pm or to wash the dishes before you use them.

Very spacious rooms and updated decorations. I would have it 5 stars except parking was a block away and they still charge you $25 plus tax which was $32 total. The room was a little dusty and the unit ac was blasting every second. The staff was superb. It’s located on top of businesses and the window view was just traffic.

Hotel was literally brand new and I loved how good everything smelled - new and clean. Staff was wonderful. Only issue was towels and sheets were so new that all the fuzzies came off on us. They need to be washed a bit more but smelled clean so we’ll take it! Parking is near a dispensary so that was not too great either…..but the hotel, worth ever penny!

Our overall stay was fantastic! The location is perfect — you’re right in the middle of everything Salem has to offer, and everything is within a short walking distance. I’d definitely recommend paying for the parking; it made things much easier instead of having to search for a spot. Our only complaint was that the windows are very thin, so you can hear almost everything happening outside throughout the night. We stayed in one of the front rooms overlooking the parking lot and main road, which probably made the noise more noticeable. With that said, we would definitely stay there again.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Salem. All the witchy related history and restaurants are within walking distance. If available, I highly recommend room 18. It is a king suite on the corner. This let's you people watch if you want. Just remember, they can see in as well 😆. We had some folks wave. They are set up like apartments so, if you want to save so.e money, bring groceries. Though there is no oven. There is a 2 burner cook ttopand microwave. Hope this helps and I look forward to my next stay.

This is a very cool hotel but it is very self-service. The first floor is a small lobby sitting area. The elevator takes you to a surprisingly plenty for hallway of guest rooms on the second floor. I booked a King suite but it’s basically a studio apartment. The room was huge and airy and had everything I needed. I had to use my phone for a key so be prepared, especially if you check in late like I did. I was a woman alone and unfamiliar with Salem, so I was a little surprised by the cast of characters on the street below who is a mix of barhopping 20-year-olds, crachheads and witches. What makes this place stand out is the style of the rooms and the common spaces which were pretty chic and mail themed. My room had floor to ceiling windows—about 20 feet of them—open to the busy Friday night city. It was cool and I will look for a deal next time I’m in the area! Great pregame space!

We had an incredible stay at The Courier Hotel—one we’ll never forget. When we arrived for check-in, we were greeted with the exciting news that it was the hotel’s grand opening day, and we were among the very first guests. Even more special, we were the first people to stay in our room. Everything was absolutely immaculate. The room was spotless and beautifully designed, and you could still catch that fresh, new-hotel scent in the air. It truly felt like a one-of-a-kind experience. What stood out just as much as the pristine condition of the hotel was the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating, making us feel valued from the moment we walked in. The location is another huge plus—perfectly situated within just a few minutes’ walk to all the main attractions in Salem, making it easy to explore without needing a car. All in all, an amazing experience from start to finish. We feel lucky to have been part of the hotel’s opening day and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The staff here were so kind, helpful, and proactive about providing me the information I needed to access the property. The room was impeccable and had great amenities. They even let me check my luggage for a couple hours which was so helpful. I'd stay here again and I'd recommend it to friends going to Salem as well.

Our first time staying over in Salem and I would definitely stay at the courier hotel again. Our suite was great. We had our granddaughter with us. She slept on the queen sized pull out couch . We slept in the bedroom. The kitchen and office area was great size and with a working kitchen. We didn't need that for this stay but we used the apartment sized fridge. The kitchen was stocked well. ( For 4) The beds were so comfortable. And the gentleman at the desk was always pleasant and helpful. Esp when I had issues with my electronic room key. I would stay again In a heart beat! Thanks!

Beautiful hotel. Spacious room with large windows. Very clean with comfortable beds and great amenities. Large bathroom and thoughtfully designed kitchenette. The staff was friendly, and the parking was just a block away. Walkable to Salem shops and the Salem Witch Trials Memorial.
