A great place to release your stress. Since it's a bit far from the main district, you can experience quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Depending on your room location, you might have to have energy to walk up and down the stairs to your door, though. This also means the space is not jammed.
The service is nice.Great hospitality. Not a topnotch but they are gentle, dignified and willing to help you. I'm impressed with their ability to understand English. I can see their effort in learning more. I heard them greeting to the guests in Korean and Japanese so I assume they are learning more.
The top five things I particularly liked was,
1)the pillow! like a marshmallow! 2) the pool! more suitable for adults 3) breakfast! especially porridge. scramble eggs were fluffy and yummy, too 4) hill top location. unless you constantly want to step out to go to a grocery store or a bar , I assure you a peaceful moment where you just want to sleep. 5) amiable staff . sure, guest houses are cheap but if receiving hospitality is part of your expectation, Kiridara has it. But
remember, basically , Southeast Asians are easygoing people. Don't expect them to move like speedy robots.
Overall, I really liked it!
