Receptionists were kind and nice. Small hotel but clean and neat. My room’s fridge didn’t work and air conditioning is not controllable by guests. Towels should be changed everyday but not even I asked them.

Great location!
I picked this hotel primarily for its location— a quick 2-minute walk to the San Marco vaporetto stations and very close to Saint Mark’s Basilica and Square, shops and restaurants. I am a solo traveler and booked a single room with one twin bed. I just needed space to sleep. I did not spend much time in the room. The room was a little cramped but very clean and tastefully decorated. I felt safe and comfortable. It was quiet. I did not mind the small space to sleep, but wished there was a more closet space or room for luggage. I was prepared in advance for no elevator. I was grateful that staff helped me with luggage, going up and coming down. There was no air conditioning, but none was necessary in October. The window opened if I wanted fresh air. The bathroom fixtures were modern and worked. Hot water was available. The staff was friendly but were gone a lot, mainly at night. (You enter your hotel and room using security codes.) The staff was easily accessible if I sent them e-mails and were very helpful with directions. Be aware that on the map, the hotel is not on the main road — you have to take a small turn down an alley to get to the courtyard. Be sure and check your email or text when you first arrive to have the best communication. They were easy to converse with (in English) and very friendly. I would gladly book there again, but perhaps book a bigger room. On the other hand, the location was so good I didn’t mind trading off a tighter space for that.

Convenient and close to main square but tucked in and easy to miss street to place. Staff was nice and helpful. Toilet seat was broken but useable. No lift so carrying luggage was a little challenging.

Hard to locate & high price point for small room
The hotel was difficult to find and arriving later in the dark made it very stressful. The room was so small that I felt cramped in it and a place I didn’t want to spend more time in other than sleeping. The staff when in duty were polite and helpful. I would recommend better signage in the arena to assist in locating the hotel.

Pleasant stay here. The room was small, and the AC didn’t seem to work very well at first but then it was quite cool so maybe user error in understanding the thermostat. You can hear guests in the other rooms and street noise, but that is to be expected in Venice. The staff were very helpful in arranging transport from the airport and to the train station and recommending restaurants. We would recommend for the convenience of central location.

A very bad experience. We lost $331.84. We booked for 2 nights in this strange little hotel - room 101 on the first floor. The room smelled like strong chemical room freshener. A staff member had to turn off the air conditioner to get the smell to stop (some). We headed out for shopping and dinner. Came back and the air conditioner had been running and the smell was intolerable. The cause for the chemical freshener...something looked like a large mold stain above the bathroom door?? don't really know. Any way gathered our stuff and we left and went searching for another hotel. Thank God, as it started to get dark, we found one. We tried to call the hotel Ca' dei Dogi severl times on their emergency number. Ooops no luck and no one at the front desk. Security is weird. Same code opens the outside door as your room door. And, the dirty sheets are stored in large piles outside of the room we booked. They refunded one of the two nights we booked. We lost $331.84 for the first night.

We will definitely be staying here again. The room was a little bit smaller than we had expected, but the bathroom and soaking tub was amazing as was the patio. This was a perfect location to stay and conveniently walk to all of the major sights. Love our 3 night stay!

A hidden gem in the heart of St Marcs
What a super accommodation right in the heart of San Marco! In 3 minutes we were in the main square, the vaporetto deck, and a plethora of restaurants and shops. Room was small for 3 people but quiet, comfortable, and super clean. My son was sick and the hotel staff were far beyond helpful- grazie! It felt like home away from home! One little correction: they should send all info and instructions to the room at least 2-3 days before arrival. Otherwise communication with the hotel was excellent (prompt and very helpful).
