3rd party canceled booking without letting me know. "Supposedly" there was an issue with my credit card even though the charge for the booking went through the day i made the booking, hence the reason it said booked and i was sent a receipt. Showed up on thr day of reservation after hotels.com continued sending me correspondence on directions, things to do etc. Called the property management company per email sent and they said they had canceled my reservation (via email) because of issue w/ CC. Called Hotels.com who called same property to confirm what i already had known. CSR return and said she could help me book another room, i requested to speak to a supervisor because i wasnt about to incur more cost because of their lack of proper procurement policies. A Supervisor was added and i asked him if he was aware of the situation and he replied yes and he was there to assist me. I explained to him i needed him to get me a comparable room as to what i had previously booked 2 months ago. Fastforward 30 mins and he returns with the same informations as the previous CSR, i told him we had already been down this road and he was supposed to be helping me book another room to which he told me to stand by...for another 20 mins i listened to birds chirp, wind blow, clanging of dishes which werent on my side of the phone being i was driving. He finally returned and said sir your CC was never charged. I would type how i was never accommodated but am limited on characters.
