I booked this hotel because they provide airport shuttle until 10pm. I started waiting at 9:30 and didn't call until 10:20pm. The guy who pick up the phone said that the last bus ended at 9pm today. He just apologized and told us to take a taxi or Uber. I said I didn't have enough cash for a taxi and my credit card balance would be insufficient. He kept saying that he couldn't do anything and didn't offer any help. I had no choice but to walk there.
I fell down on the road and got hurt and bled.
1. If I knew from the beginning that their shuttle was unreliable and I had to call a taxi, I would have booked a cheaper hotel nearby, saved money even I got taxi and would not have gotten hurt.
2. After arriving at the hotel, I sought help from the counter staff, but she only found a bottle of hydrogen peroxide in their first aid kit. The next day, I went to a nearby Chase bank to exchange money because I need to do my laundry. The service staff asked me, "How are you?" I told her I fell and was injured, and she immediately went to get me a bandaid, even though I was not a customer of them. Isn't that strange? How terrible it is that a hotel doesn't have what it should have and can't provide it to guests in urgent need!
3. When I was checking out the next day, I said I wanted to talk to a manager about what happened, but the counter clerk on the morning shift insisted that their shuttle service was indeed until 10 o'clock last night and I missed it. How can it be!
