Equipment failure and management
I stayed at this hotel for a total of 4 days during my stay in Lapaz. However, due to some unfortunate circumstances, it turned out to be the worst hotel stay I've ever had. I rode the hotel elevator early in the morning on the second day to join a tour of Tiahuanaco ruins, but the elevator has broken. I was trapped there with two other guests for over 30 minutes, and we couldn't make it in time for that meeting. The accident itself was unavoidable, but the hotel did not offer any apology for the incident.
After 3 nights, I checked out and spent a day in Uyuni. I returned to this hotel as I had originally booked, but it was tereibble. the safety box was broken and hot water hoes not come out, the hair dryer was broken..... It was especially cold in the mornings and evenings. My condition, which was already feeling a bit like I was coming down with a cold, got worse.
Some of the staff were friendly, but you should be especially careful with the facilities.
