Lovely apartment in a great location location overlooking the Plaza Vieja (Old Square) in the historic district of Havana. Air conditioning works well in the bedrooms, however, one bedroom faces the square and is a bit noisy until the early hours of the morning. (This is not a problem in the other bedrooms.)
Only negative is that the host said they would have a taxi meet us at the airport but there was nobody there to meet us when we got through customs. We tried calling the number listed in the Expedia confirmation email, but nobody picked up the call. We took a taxi van from the airport instead which worked fine ($50 USD in December 2024), although the taxi driver did not realize the apartment address was on the Plaza so we had to walk a couple of blocks with our luggage. Fortunately the host let us in when the banged on the door and ran all the unlabeled doorbells next to the door.
