I just completed a 3 week stay in Dalian and surrounding area.
Hotel was very close in experience to a Shangri-La.
Cleanliness was very good, rooms were great.
Housekeeping staff was outstanding as was laundry service.
Pool use requires bathing cap and a couple other rules.
What passes for a business office is not what I expected and requires staff assistance. Scope of business office services is limited, don't count on needing anything printed.
Not a lot of western travelers frequent the hotel, so in depth communication can be challenging but not unsolvable.
Staff made every attempt to accommodate my needs.

Rooms were fine though the shower was not all that good and the bath tub leaked water on the floor. Other than that, it was just ok.. WiFi was weak in my room needs improvement.

Hotel must be under new management.
bad check out service, bad concierge, poor service in restaurant, no refills for some dishes in buffet, poor food collection especially for appetite and desert.
