I recently stayed at this resort while hosting company in Orlando, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I was given false information by a resort attendant, which caused me to delay extending my stay until later in the day. As a result, my room was locked—with my dog inside.
When I went to the reservations desk to resolve the issue, the staff member I spoke to was incredibly rude and made inappropriate gestures. Hoping to find a resolution, I calmly approached a manager to explain that I was misled by an employee, which was the only reason for the delay in extending my stay. Instead of addressing the issue, the manager involved security and threatened to trespass me if I didn’t leave the property.
At no point did I behave inappropriately or escalate the situation. The only issue was that they didn’t want to admit their mistake. I was completely inconvenienced and treated unprofessionally for simply bringing this to their attention.
The customer service here is appalling, and the management appears to lack the basic skills needed to handle situations appropriately. I cannot recommend this resort to anyone.
