The staff were friendly and provided a great customer service. The property grounds or exterior look amazing, clean, and well maintained. I love the Key West style exterior and coastal interior decor. The beds are very comfortable.
However, the 2-bedroom villa that were assigned to us was filthy. There were dirt smudges on the light switches, sofa, and interior doors. The sofa had literal dirt on it (sand and crumbs). You can visibly see the dust build up on all the ceiling fans and AC vents. The hotel needs to replace the old (rough on skin, no longer white) bath towels.
The stacked washer and dryer in our unit was in terrible shape. The rubber seal on the dryer was partly detached and the washer was super loud, it sounded like someone was trying to breakdown the front door. I’m not exaggerating. I decided to do some laundry around midnight and that thing woke my teenagers up. There was no way the neighboring units did not hear it. It was so embarrassing.
Lastly, this hotel could really use another pool. A BIGGER pool where people can actually swim. The only time the pools weren’t busy is around 8am to 10am. After that, the pools start looking like a can of sardines. IT IS PACKED (again, I’m not exaggerating).
Hopefully, the refurbishments this winter addresses these issues. Either that or lower your rates because this hotel is definitely not worth what you’re charging.
Trust me when I say I’ve seen better, for the same amount of price in the same location.
