A positive outlook.
It was a nice stay. However, a few things that we believed needed some help. The door did look completely lock, the furniture could use an updating. There was 1 bed bug i found on my side of the bed. The employees did come to the room right away take the beddding away. They also asked if we wanted to switch rooms. We did, we did check for others. The halfway smelled stale. We did like the location. We did enjoy the breakfast. And would stay there again.

No smoking except at front entrance 😐
Perfect for my purposes—had to change rooms on initial check in. First room was soiled (upholstery) and smelled unclean. Second room much better. One complaint is the staff regularly takes smoking breaks at front entrance which should be prohibited and gives a bad impression.

A Relaxing and Pleasant Place to Stay
I have stayed at Cresthill Suites Syracuse many times and it is my first choice when a suite is available. I have never found anything negative about my experiences. The staff are quite friendly and professional.

Nice stay
The space was adequate for 2 adults and a teen. We liked the kitchenette and breakfast. Took advantage of the all hours, free coffee area in the lobby. Room and bathroom were clean, however lots of cobwebs up in the ceiling of the kitchen. Noticed immediately that the mirror light was out in the bathroom and called for a fix the first night. Reminded the lobby again about the Light the next morning. No one from maintenance ever came to replace the bulb. Several soap dispensers were empty and the replacement bottles were nearly impossible to get open. The heat and hot water were great after a chilly day in Syracuse!

Last Legs
The state of this hotel is sad. Everything is really dated but it's also not clean, things in the rooms don't work, and some of the supplies are branded from other hotel chains. As it is suites, there is a kitchen but asking for more than one plate and coffee cup (since that's all there were) got us paper versions of both. That really didn't matter but it just seems like this place is barely holding it together. The staff is friendly, for the most part, and did their best. I just wouldn't stay here again, especially at the rate we paid for the room.

We've stayed here many times while visiting our daughter. The two-bedroom, two-bath option is very nice. I would note that this hotel could use a big hug—updating furniture and fixtures, new carpets, etc. It always has a musty smell, and everything in the rooms is outdated.

Roomy suite with all promised amenities. However, I would not reserve this suite again because the sofa bed is very uncomfortable for sleeping. The mattress's spring pushes your bones and the whole bed sinks down. Since the hotel was fully booked, I had to find ways to make it a less punishing experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is good with several things to choose from (hot and cold).

Clean. Spacious rooms. Good value. We had suite. Two double beds and a pull out couch. Kitchen and good size fridge. Not super fancy, but very nice, comfy beds, and exactly what we needed.
