Terrible cleaning staff
The room was not cleaned properly. We found an opened Pepsi bottle on the floor by the window, food on the floor in two places and, worst of all, dirty in the bed which indicates the sheets were not changed. We didn’t realize the sheets were dirty until the morning of checkout or I would have insisted on a new room. My wife suspected the sheets were unchanged but I doubted her. We confirmed it Sunday morning by stripping the bed and found food crumbs at the foot of the bed, My wife said we should complain and ask for a refund but I don’t like doing that so I simply notified the girl at the front desk on my way out.

It’s very clear that the property has a lot of age and is pretty rundown. Stains in the bathroom on the carpeting, etc. It wasn’t spectacularly clean anyway, but that makes it more of a challenge for your staff.

The common areas are worn down and dirty especially the door at the top of lobby stairs. We had two rooms for three nights and I probably slept 3 hours the entire time. The other guests were very loud and there was even a fight next door. Had to call the front desk twice. There was heavy rain the first night which got into our room via the AC unit and our carpet was soaked for the entire stay which led to the room smelly horrible as well. I’ve worked in hotels and hesitate to leave negative reviews but I’m hoping the owners will put some money into cleaning up this property.
