We arrived early and couldn't check in. No big deal, but when we did check in the clerk was dull. No smile or welcoming were anywhere to be found. We were charged an extra (refundable) $100, I assume just in case we walked away with their tacky wall art. The same clerk, I'll call him 'Mumbles' got miffed when he had to repeat directions to the ice machine for me. There is no printed instructions anywhere, concerning things like TV usage, vending machines, breakfast, etc. The TV worked, the vending machines, once found, worked, and the breakfast was okay, but the pervasive feeling that the front desk would much rather not have us there was palpable. When we checked out, there was a very pleasant gentleman there who seemed sincerely interested in how our stay was. I smiled and said it was okay, but really it was nothing special. I'll update when/if I get my $100 refunded. That sucked big time.
