Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price
Our stay at Radisson Blu Aruba has been frustrating and far from what was advertised. The listing promised beach chairs and umbrellas, but none were available. Staff told us to arrive at 7:30 AM to secure one—despite them only being released at 8 AM—or buy a chair at the bar next door. The adults-only pool was also closed due to an event, another undisclosed inconvenience.
As Expedia VIP Members, we were entitled to early check-in and it won’t happened. The only seating in the pool available was a chair facing the parking lot, making the experience feel indifferent and disappointing.
When we raised our concerns, the staff’s response was dismissive, saying no hotel has enough beach space for all guests—something that was never made clear in the listing. Customer service was unhelpful, both through the agency’s chat and the hotel’s own chat, where I received no response at all.
For the price paid, the lack of transparency, poor service, and mismanagement make this hotel a terrible value for money. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free stay in Aruba.
